2.2 Payment Information

  • Payment card details are collected and processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not store your full card details on our servers. We may store a reference to your payment method and a record of transactions.

2.3 Location Data

  • Your device’s location (when you grant permission) to show nearby bikedok units and calculate distance. Location data is used in real time and is not continuously tracked or stored beyond your active session.

2.4 Usage Data

  • Booking history, session times, and duration
  • Interaction with bikedok units (lock/unlock events)

2.5 Device and Technical Data

  • Device type, operating system version, and app version
  • Bluetooth connection data (required to communicate with bikedok units)

Crash reports and basic performance data to help us improve the app

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your personal data to:

  • Provide and operate the bikedok service, including locating units, processing bookings, and handling payments
  • Communicate with you about your account, bookings, and any service issues

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not share your personal data with advertisers.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete your personal data within 90 days, except where we are required to retain certain records for legal or financial compliance purposes (e.g. transaction records may be retained for up to 7 years as required by tax regulations).

Anonymised usage data may be retained indefinitely for statistical and service improvement purposes.
